The Wall Street Journal gave us a nice push out the door yesterday, the official publication date for The Big One. Today, Marshall Cutchin, editor and publisher of the flyfishing site MidCurrent, called it “a great fishing book” that suggests “being weird may actually help you catch more (and bigger) fish.”
Also today, the sports blog Deadspin has an adaptation from the book about Dick Hathaway, the brash surfcaster who won the derby six times before being banished for 10 years on cheating charges in 1999.
